I see so many posts on my dash about girls wanting to lose weight so they can wear bikinis.
I don’t want that.
In fact, I know I’ll never strut my stuff in a bikini. Some bodies really aren’t made to be teeny tiny. Plus, I don’t think anyone wants to see my c-section scar. Trust me, it’s not sexy.
Anyway, my point is, you don’t have to strive to look cute in a teeny weeny bikini. I want to be healthy. That’s it. I want to be able to run around with my daughter and not get winded. I want to live longer, to see her do great things in her life.
That’s why I want to lose weight. Not to look cute at the beach.
Happy Thursday loves! I just wanted to make a quick note to say, I love my followers. I really do. And, I’m all about following back, but only if your blog is relevant to mine. Meaning, I’m only going to follow back if you’re a weight loss blog.
I do have a personal tumblr, and I’d be more than happy to follow you through that one, if I’m not following you through this one.
You can find it here. You can also find my personal blogspot blog here.
Now, if you want to follow along more with my weight loss, you can find my Fat Girl’s Getting Skinny twitter here, and I’ve also got a weight loss blogspot blog found here, even though I don’t update it as much as I should.
Anyway, just wanted to let anyone know who I wasn’t following back what the case was. Hope y’all have a great day! XOXO
Today was my second day in the Cruise Phase…
And I’m down a total of 10 lbs!! GW1 of 250 has come and gone! (my SW was 259) I slipped up yesterday and had a couple of sips of a chocolate shake, but I worked my ass off afterward to burn it off.
Being on the Dukan Diet seems to be getting easier. Of course I still have my cravings, but, with the exception of the slip up yesterday, I keep them in check pretty well. Although I’m not sure they’ll ever completely go away.
Another thing that I’ve noticed is I’m actually beginning to enjoy working out. I haven’t been walking (I’m sorry, it’s just too hot down here in South Texas!) but I’ve been doing some strength training and working out on my Wii fit. I never thought I’d love the feel of sweat running down my face, but what do you know, it cheers me up and makes me push myself harder.
The weight loss hasn’t hit a plateau yet, it’s been pretty steady, so I’m hoping it keeps up. Seeing the numbers go down on the scale is quite the confidence booster! It actually proves that I’m making a difference.
Also, I’ve decided to make weekly goals, i.e. sleep x amount of hours, drink x amount of water, etc.
I wanna know what my followers think! What should I include in my weekly lists of goals? And how are y’all doing with your weight loss?
